If you want to piss a beer off, place a Hair of the Dog Adam up against it in a beer tasting. The Adam will beat the other beer to a pulp almost every time.

It smells like cinnamon... an Atomic Fireball candy to be precise. On the palate, it puts the heart in hearty. High alcohol, but not overpowering. It shows any number of flavors, including dark chocolate, applewood smoke, fig, a sugar cube that's been dipped in a cappuccino, cinnamon candies, malt... Yet with all of those flavors, it remains balanced on both the nose and the palate.

The Adam is an outstanding beer. Hell, it's beyond a beer; this is what a wine strives to be. October 13, 2010
